Business opportunity with UK based
company: Manufacturers for Automated fare collection
Dear Tier II Partners,
With regard to the above mentioned subject matter, a UK based
company is looking for Potential partners (Manufacturers of
equipment).
The broad requirements are as follows:
. He should be capable of manufacturing electronic boards &
mechanical housings for the three type of equipment - validators,
driver consoles and hand held devices, based upon drawings that
the UK company will provide.
. The partner shall be capable of performing functional and
electrical testing at board and equipment level and to integrate
the electronic boards into the housings. Prototypes of each
equipment will have to go through rugged environmental testing.
. The partner will be capable of, installation & commissioning
services and maintenance on site and at works on those
equipment. The closest types of equipment to those to be
delivered are the Automatic Teller Machines, the Ticket vending
machines for parkings and the ruggedised portable computers in
the case of the hand held device.
. The Indian partner should capable of building a team of
technicians who, after suitable training and with documentation
provided by the UK company, will handle the technical calls
related to the fare collection system, including the equipment
installed in buses but also to the rest of the system such as
servers and the clearing house handling the electronic
transactions.
The company is also scheduled to visit India next week to hold
discussion with potential partners.
